About WOW… 

Founded in 1999 by Karen Lynn

On the belief that everyone can achieve their own success given the opportunity to do so, business entrepreneur, Karen Lynn, founded the original organization as Hands For Hire.  In 2011, the organization restructured as WOW In-Sync, Inc. and is now recognized both locally and nationally for its high standards and innovative programming models.

Powering Futures

WOW powers futures by providing life skills training, community integration, and employment training and support.  Choice and Advocacy are at the forefront of all program models.  “We Work Together as a Team!” and in so doing, we become stronger ourselves and with our community.

Who We Are

WOW In-Sync, Inc. is a Georgia 501(c) (3) non-profit providing training and support for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities and autism to help them integrate more fully into business and community.

WOW is accredited by CARF International in the following areas:

  • Community Integration

  • Community Employment Services:  Employment Supports

  • Community Employment Services:  Job Development

  • Employee Development Services

  • Employment Planning Services

Staff participate in on-going training including defensive driving, health and safety, programmatic and operational training and are certified in CPR/First Aid.

WOW currently supports 170 individuals in the metro Atlanta area including Fulton, DeKalb, Gwinnett, Rockdale, Newton, and Clayton counties. WOW continues to grow in size and scope and is increasing accessibility to services by utilizing its innovative community-based programs and technology.
